For almost forty years, La Passion des Couteaux has been there to inform you, refine your knife culture and bring you happiness. From the outset, this grand dame has taken great care to ensure that she remains as young and dynamic as the subject she lovingly treats: cutlery.
Today, many readers express the wish to enjoy the magazine more often, and there is no shortage of subjects to explore, even on a European scale. With this in mind, the magazine is now published bimonthly, with a digital version in English.
A digital format in French and English!
After changing its skin two years ago, the magazine is evolving in form and frequency, without ever changing its tone, demands or types of subject. Following the launch of the French-language digital format, the editorial team would now like to add an English-language version.
The magazine is now even more international, as it can be read and shared anywhere in the world. Issue 166 will be published at the end of January, an ideal opportunity to share information with your English-speaking friends and customers. It will even carry the message of European cutlery to the four corners of the globe, bringing together not-so-different worlds.
Bimonthly, with a new issue every 2 months!
With so many subjects to come, the editorial team has decided to add two issues a year, and put an end to the special issue, in order to propose a rhythm of publication every two months. The magazine is teeming with ideas, with subjects each more fascinating than the last, with the aim of growing knife culture, promoting the wealth of cutlery and guiding purchases through the flood of information on the web.
The new publication schedule is based on five periods: February-March, April-May, June-July, August-September and October-November.

Bought out in 2020 by Les Éditions de l’Enclume, the publishing house set up for the occasion by Anne-Cécile Turquety, La Passion des Couteaux magazine has become the company’s core business, alongside the poster and the sale of books and posters.

It’s an independent structure that its founder manages alone, surrounded by a layout artist, a proofreader, a webmaster, photographers and authors and a French printer, all independent.
In order to implement these projects and maintain this knife-edge “institution”, the team is currently working in a difficult environment for the press, marked both by sharp rises in printing costs and increasingly fierce competition from the web. Despite these constraints, numerous ideas and projects continue to emerge, made possible thanks to the loyalty of the magazine’s readers.
