In this new issue, we look back at Eric Plazen’s contribution to cutlery. Younger people probably don’t know him, but he’s still around in people’s minds and is still a benchmark.

Éric, who passed away 10 years ago, left a deep imprint on people’s minds, to the point of becoming a veritable “mentor” for many amateurs and professionals who followed him on the forgefr and neoczen forums and at his demonstrations. Éric had taken his knowledge of metallurgy to a very high level, and loved to share it with his colleagues.
