In this issue, we invite you to travel the world through cutlery and explore the connections that unite the craftsmanship of different countries. Japanese knives, now a staple in Western kitchens, are a perfect example of this: Japanese manufacturers adapt their designs to meet European expectations, while Western cutlers draw inspiration from their shapes, steels, and sharpening methods. This journey continues through the Czech Republic, Hungary, Switzerland, and Portugal, before stopping in Russia to discover a manufacturer renowned for the excellence of its work.   <\/p>\n<h2><strong>  News and Discoveries\u2028  <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>As in every issue, you\u2019ll find the latest news from the cutlery world, a selection of great buying ideas, and a recap of the trade shows from late spring 2026. This time, @fandecouteaux\u2019s \u201cFavorites\u201d spotlight the remarkable creations of Russian manufacturer Shirogorov, as well as the beautiful collaboration between CKF and Grind Tactical Knives. We also invite you to discover three brands whose stories are as fascinating as their creations: Japan\u2019s Suncraft, Hungary\u2019s NNKnives, and the French brand La Grande Coutellerie. Not to mention the first part of Gilles Cotten\u2019s exceptional collection\u2014a collection that\u2019s one of a kind.   <\/p>\n<h2><strong>  Events and Major Gatherings\u2028  <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>In this issue, we introduce you to some exceptional cutlers, each renowned for their expertise: Anthony Brochier and his Damascus steel knives, Bryan Raquin and his Japanese kitchen knives, Ugo Mighali and his carved knives, and Richard Tesarik, whose creations captivate with their aesthetic appeal.
